Friday ... and it's raining

What a grim day!

Been a while since I posted any news on here (just the odd photo which I've now managed to do from my phone... yipppee! Facebook still foxes me on that count... hmmm). Have been at work for my usual three days... on Tuesday I went into Stroud and took Oscar to Tiddlywinks playgroup where he ran riot and played with playdoh. In the evening I went out for a nice drink with a YM, Andreia.

Yesterday we went to Tumbletots and Oscar was not in the least bit interested in climbing over the equipment... I did try to explain that we could have gone anywhere for him to run around, rather than pay £4.90 for the privilege... but he wasn't interested!!! He did look cool in his new T'tots t-shirt tho, will be even better when I get the name ironed on to the back (although I have a feeling that already everyone knows his name... hmmmm, is that a good sign??!)

Tonight we've got our ex-lodgers popping in to say hi, tomorrow I'm off to an NCT second-hand sale to see if I can pick up any toys for Oscar for Christmas and then on Sunday we'll know the results from the chutney competition... Local Stroud pub is holding a competition and Rich has entered Spicy Pear, Pear & Walnut, Green Tomato & Mango... fingers crossed! So we'll be heading over there in the afternoon. Apparently the landlord is getting in bread and cheese supplies, so that once the results have been announced we'll be able to sample the entries! Yum....

Right, better go and collect the munch-meister now.... xx

Balls, tots & noise....

What a day... been to TumbleTots with Oscar this morning for his regular class - why does he insist on running round and round the hall and then up and down the stairs to the stage when there's LOADS of equipment he could crawl, balance, tumble on to???!

Then went to Natalie's and Oscar 'helped' to look after his two girlfriends, Holly & Amy... he loves hanging with the chicks :-)

Drove straight to Go Bananas to meet two fellow YMs (yummy mummies) and their off-springs, Huw & Ryan... where we spent the afternoon. GB is ball-pit hell (or heaven if you're a 19month old!) It was SO noisy in there and I was starving (doesn't help your tolerance levels if your blood sugar levels are LOOOOWWWW). Anyhow Oscar was most taken with the coin-operated car... but didn't want to venture up through the holes in the levels to the top to take the scary slides down... phew (not sure I wanted to admit to my son that I'm scared of heights.... hmmmm)

Came home and Oscar had a long overdue nap... he's now fast asleep and daddy's cooking spag bol... Yum. x

Fed up with facebook... let's try a blog

In the vain attempt to keep up to date (technologically I suppose, fashion went out of the window years ago) I thought I'd try a blog.
Not sure what to write here, I suppose it's my thoughts and comments on the day?
Day is grey, life is grey (with a glimmer of sunshine on the horizon) but my top is purple..
Supposed to be working but got sidetracked in trying to log my boss on to LinkedIn, so thought I'd have an amble around.
Had sushi for lunch, have a chunky kit kat in my handbag, calling out my name...
Really disjointed I know, but how's that for a first attempt?!
